St. Mark Church provides food donations to Our Daily Bread Employment Center, an organization who helps feed the poor in downtown Baltimore through an Archdiocesan-run soup kitchen/dining room facility founded by Catholic Charities in 1981.
Casserole pans with recipes are available in the vestibules of the Church and Chapel on the 1st weekend of every other month; announcements will be made in the bulletin and from the pulpit. Casseroles are cooked, frozen solid (Our Daily Bread will not accept them otherwise) and then dropped off in the Melvin Avenue parking lot (across from the School) from 7:30 to 8:45 am on the 2nd Friday of every other month; check the weekly Bulletin to confirm dates.
