St. Mark parishioners donate their time and singing talent as members of our Adult Choir. The choir sings at the 11:00 a.m. Sunday Mass in the Church and at special liturgies (Christmas, Easter and Confirmation). Rehearsals are held weekly (Fall through Spring). If you’re interested in joining our choir, please contact Jennifer Blades; being able to read music is helpful but not required.

The Cantor’s responsibility is to facilitate the congregation’s sung worship. To be able to do this successfully, the cantor must feel comfortable assisting the congregation’s song and be familiar with the Catholic liturgy, while also singing well with a sound system. Cantors lead music at the 4:00 p.m. Saturday Mass and the 11:00 a.m. Sunday Mass in the Church. They must audition with Jennifer Blades, our parish Music Director, before being scheduled and must be willing to rehearse as needed. The cantors work with the Music Director in coordinating music for the various liturgies, celebrations and commemorations of the parish.
