Christmas Giving Tree

Location
St. Mark Parish Catonsville

Beginning in November, our Parish collects and prepares Christmas gifts for those in need in our community. Volunteers from the parish’s Social Justice Committee assess the needs of local homeless shelters and other helping organizations, prepare gift tags, set up the tree, and collect and store the gifts donated by our parishioners. Many families use the experience of Giving Tree shopping to help teach their children the importance of providing for others during the holidays.

At noon on Sunday, Dec. 19, the committee and other parishioners will sort the gifts for each program in the Coakley Room of the Parish Hall. These local community programs are truly grateful for the generous support of St. Mark parishioners’ Giving Tree donations.
